Las Vegas – Each year, ActionCOACH honors some of its top coaches with an ActionMAN Award. This award is given to coaches who embody the 14 Points of Culture developed by ActionCOACH. At this year’s Americas Conference held at the Hilton Memphis, in Memphis, Tennessee, Dan Zimanski of Mandeville, Louisiana was one of the winners.

The Founder and Chairman of ActionCOACH, Brad Sugars presented Zimanski with the ActionMAN Award.

“Dan coaches businesses in one of the most troubled economic areas of the United States, but he has done a lot of good work with businesses in and around New Orleans and deserves to be recognized for all he’s done,” Sugars said.

As is his nature, Zimanski was more interested in praising those who’ve helped him achieve success than in praising himself.

“I didn’t really expect to receive this award, but it’s a tremendous honor,” Zimanski said, “I really want to thank everyone who has helped me. I want to thank God and, of course, my wife Beth and our kids.”

ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 39 countries. To learn more about ActionCOACH, go to actioncoach.com.

ACTIONCOACH A FINALIST FOR PEOPLE’S CHOICE STEVIE AWARDS

from Brad Sugars’ Blogs.

In the almost two decades since ActionCOACH began helping small and medium sized businesses, the world’s largest business coaching company has developed systems that have made a tremendous impact on businesses around the world.

Recent studies have shown that businesses coached by an ActionCOACH Business Coachhave a return of $7.50 for every dollar spent. In addition,74 percent of ActionCOACH coached businesses increased sales over the last year compared to only 43% of non-coached businesses.

When you consider these numbers, it is easy to see why ActionCOACH is the world’s largest business coaching company. Every week, 15,000 businesses around the world are coached by an ActionCOACH Business Coach because business owners that hire an ActionCOACH get results.

Because of those results, ActionCOACH has been named a Finalist for this year’s People’s Choice Stevie Award for Favorite Companies in the Business Services category.

There isn’t a business in the world that can survive, let alone thrive, without a group of “Raving Fans” as customers and we certainly have our “Raving Fans” to thank for this nomination.

But the nomination was just the first step.

The next step is actually voting for ActionCOACH in the “Business Services” category and with your vote and support we can win this coveted award.

To vote for ActionCOACH, just visit the “People’s Choice Awards” page by clicking on the button at the top of this blog. Once you’re directed to the voting page, click on “Business Services” and then vote for ActionCOACH.

ActionCOACH Wins the STEVIE!

ACTIONCOACH WINS THE STEVIE
from: http://bradsugarsblog.com/actioncoach-wi…

I’m proud to announce that ActionCOACH has been named the winner of this year’s Stevie for Best Overall Company in the Business Services category. This is a great honor because we were up against some stiff competition.

The Stevies, or American Business Awards, are meant to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and businesses. Previous Stevie winners include such household names as Apple, Constant Contact and Overstock.com.

This is the third straight year ActionCOACH was honored as a finalist for Best Overall Company and the second time we’ve won the award, having taken home the trophy in 2007 as well.

One of the longest tenured ActionCOACH Master Licensees in the United States, Don Schin, attended the Awards Dinner and accepted the award for ActionCOACH.

“Receiving this award on behalf of ActionCOACH is a great honor for me,” Schin said, “This award has special meaning for me because I’ve been part of the ActionCOACH system for so long. I’ve seen incredible growth in more than a decade as an ActionCOACH and I know, with our great team, we will continue to grow and get better.”

The award highlights the strengths of ActionCOACH, the systems and the people. Everyone in the organization played a role in winning this award and that commitment to excellence is evident to virtually everyone that comes into contact with an ActionCOACH team member.

Anytime you win an award it’s an honor, but winning Best Overall Company means ActionCOACH is the best of the best, and not just in the field of Business Coaching.

Coaching for a Cause- ActionCOACH Dan Zimanski and Hope House

ActionCOACH’s Dan Zimanski Giving Back to the Community Through “Coaching for a Cause”

ActionCOACH Dan Zimanski is proud to announce that The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC)/Hope House has signed on as a “Coaching for a Cause” client.

Mandeville, LA, April 09, 2011 – PR.com)– “Coaching for a Cause” is an ActionCOACH program where coaches coach non-profit organizations in their local communities pro bono. This is one of the many ways in which Zimanski is giving back to his community as he strives to achieve his vision of maximizing community wealth through inspired actions.

The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC)/Hope House is a non-profit organization, serving abused children of St. Tammany and Washington parishes whose mission is to improve community response to child abuse. The CAC works with child protection, law enforcement, and the District Attorney’s office in conducting forensic interviews with the child. The interview takes place at CAC in a warm, home-like environment that prevents the child from being interviewed multiple times in multiple agencies, and fosters a safe environment where the child feels more comfortable disclosing difficult information. They also offer follow-up counseling and support at no cost to their clients and the families.

CAC is run by a 5 member staff and a volunteer board. They do not charge for any of their services, and therefore rely solely on grants, fundraisers, and donations to keep their doors open. Jesse Hartley is the Executive Director for CAC/Hope House and Zimanski’s “Coaching for a Cause” client.

“Working with Dan has encouraged me to set higher goals and establish targeted plans to reach them. We are a small staff and efficiency is of the utmost importance,” said Hartley. “Dan has helped me think outside the box and utilize everyone’s skills to the fullest. It is rare that I’m able to have such an opportunity being in the non-profit world. I’m so grateful that Dan saw the importance of our organization and has lent his talent and knowledge to help us continue to provide quality services to our clients.”

The CAC’s signature fundraiser event is the Annual Mad Hatter Tea that will take place this year on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the St. Scholastica Gymnasium. This is the 9th Annual event and all proceeds go towards the operations budget. There are several sponsorship opportunities for this event. To learn more, contact Jesse Hartley at 985-892-3885 or  jesse at cachopehouse.org. You can also visit www.cachopehouse.org.

Zimanski is helping Hartley and her team implement the ActionCOACH goal and planning system into their daily operations. They are working together to develop and execute specific strategies to achieve 2011 fundraising targets that will enable them to expand and grow their organization long-term. The first goal on the list is to have a record breaking fundraising event on May 14th.

Zimanski said “All non-profit organizations face the same challenges that businesses face – time, team and money. In fact, in the non-profit world these challenges are often multiplied due to limited resources and relying on volunteers within the community. It can all come together fairly quickly with a plan that is effectively communicated and team of people committed to achieving goals. It is a pleasure working with such a wonderful organization knowing the impact they make on each of these children’s lves. Just like the businesses I coach, our core focus is generating additional revenue. This will enable us to fund additional child abuse awareness and prevention programs that will make a significant difference as our community continues to grow.”

Zimanski resides in Mandeville, LA serving the Northshore business community and surrounding areas, including Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Houma and Thibodaux. He has been an ActionCOACH for 3 years. He is passionate about helping business owners succeed, contributing to his community and helping children.

ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching franchise, with more than 1,000 offices in 32 countries. To learn more about Zimanski and ActionCOACH go to www.actioncoach.com/danzimanski.
